REPRESENTATON OF PHYSICANS IN BUISNESS MATTERS

Mr. Millstein has experience representing physicians on a variety of business issues regarding the management of their practices and commercial interest, including partnership issues.

He has achieved a national reputation in litigation concerning emergency room physicians’ rights, has represented the American Academy of Emergency Medicine in numerous matters and has written and lectured on issues concerning Emergency Physicians on issues ranging from the Corporate Practice of Medicine, illegal contracts and arrangements between hospitals, groups and physicians and the impact of anti-kickback and referral fee laws on physician groups and contracting arrangements.

Mr. Millstein recently defended emergency physicians in a suit brought by former holder of emergency room contract for breach of non-competition provisions.
